Christian Women’s Job Corps Hosts First Ever Call-A-Thon

Event Time: July 28th from noon to 8 PM

NACOGDOCHES  — We try to teach our participants to reach out for help when they need it. Going it alone is not always wise or Biblical. There are times when we need the help of our brothers and sisters to accomplish goals. CWJC needs your help now!

You are so important to helping make dreams come true for so many women and men of Nacogdoches and you just might be needed more than ever.

Covid-19 has limited funding for a lot of non-profits. We have especially taken a hit this first half of the year. CWJC only exists because of the generosity of this community. The funds we spend here not only can help break the cycle of poverty it can provide real hope. Hope that only comes through Jesus Christ. Life change happens here. You know more than anyone what this program is capable of doing in the lives of others. This newsletter is filled with testimonies just from the past couple of classes.

We can only bring hope because of you our volunteers and our ministry partners. Together we can restore the biblical value of work and break the cycle of poverty for everyone who steps through our doors.

You can do so many things to help us raise funds. And right now your support is urgently needed as unemployment surpasses Great Depression levels. And we have good news. The government is giving a 100% dollar for dollar write off on your taxes up to $300 this year and you do not have to itemize. That means you get to decide if you want to spend $300 on taxes or your favorite non-profit CWJC. Even better, all your donations before August will be matched 100%, dollar for dollar up to $10,000. Thanks again to the Bright Foundation.

We know things are tough and we hate to keep asking, but we know that God is faithful and together we can do more than we can alone. If you haven’t given yet this year, please do soon, and if you cannot, then please pray for us. We need your prayers like never before.

We’re on a mission to get 500 residents of Nacogdoches County to donate $30 to support our neighbors who needs us more than ever. That is why Christian Women’s Job Corps is hosting a Cal-A-Thon on July 28th from noon till 8 PM. This will be our first ever event.

Thank You in advance for whatever you can do. God Bless!
