WHY PICKLEBALL?

The Annual Pine Top Pickleball Tournament has become a cherished annual fundraising event for Christian Women’s Job Corps Nacogdoches, capitalizing on our community’s growing enthusiasm for pickleball. Many nonprofits may host a dinner as their fundraiser, but here at CWJC Nacogdoches, we host a pickleball tournament! For those that don’t play, we offer a “Kids Day” on the Saturday of the weekend that host activities for all ages, a variety of food trucks throughout the weekend, and vendors/raffles to shop from.
All proceeds support our mission of continuing our completely free 9-week Employment Readiness Program and GED program. Through our programming,  participants gain essential job and life skills that empower them to create better futures for themselves and their families. By joining our tournament, you’re not just enjoying a day of competitive pickleball—you’re helping us continue our vital work of transforming lives in the Nacogdoches community
Join us the first weekend of October at Maroney Park for this exciting community event! There are several ways to get involved and support our cause: register as a player and showcase your pickleball skills, set up as a vendor to reach our enthusiastic audience, or become a sponsor to help maximize our impact. Your participation, in any form, directly contributes to empowering women in our community.
