SERVE at CWJC - A Place for You!

Christian Women’s Job Corps (CWJC) relies on the expertise, dedication, and knowledge of our volunteers to serve and empower women in our community. There are various ways you can get involved and make a difference:

Facilitating Classes

We welcome volunteers to help facilitate classes that align with their experience and comfort level. With a range of classes throughout the week, you can choose to volunteer at your own pace, making it easy to fit serving into your schedule.

Classes we offer include Bible Study, Job Readiness, Financial Literacy, Digital Skills, Healthy Boundaries, and tutoring for GED. Commitment is 1-2 hours a week.

Administrative Support

Receptionists: Be the friendly face and voice that sets the tone for the CWJC experience. Answer phones, greet guests, and keep the office running smoothly. Choose a morning or afternoon shift at least once a week!

Office Support: Help with various administrative tasks including data entry, writing letters, and other essential office duties that keep our program running efficiently.

Hospitality and Mentorship

Hospitality Team: Help us set up and break down meals, put extra love in preparing our classrooms each week, or help tackle a big task. Commitment can look like an hour or two weekly or just giving us a call and seeing if we have something for you to do!

Mentorship: Provide encouragement, support, and prayer for individual students throughout the 9-week program and beyond. Mentors help our students get to graduation, assist students with finding a church home, and giving them hope.

High School Students, Church Groups, Community Organizations, Businesses: We would love to have you!

Service projects of all types are welcome at Christian Women’s Job Corps! Groups have helped us with our annual Pickleball tournament fundraiser, deep cleaned our spaces, put together hygiene bags, stuffed newsletters, and more. We offer community service hours to high school students looking to serve! Feel free to reach out to us and we will accommodate you!
