Now Hiring - Executive Director

After being involved with CWJC of Nacogdoches since 2005 and serving as the Executive Director for nearly 10 years, Helen Stevenson has announced her retirement. We are honored by her commitment and years of dedication to CWJC, our mission, our participants, Nacogdoches and the surrounding communities, and to God. We are excited to see what God has planned for her!

Accordingly, CWJC of Nacogdoches is beginning our search for a replacement Executive Director. Below is our preferred profile for an Executive Director candidate. This is not a comprehensive list of all activities, job duties, and responsibilities required. However, a list of job duties and responsibilities will be provided upon request. All employees are expected to adhere to the Christian Women’s Job Corps Policies and Procedures in the Employee Handbook.

Executive Director Profile

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

Experience: Must have experience in business administration, volunteer supervision, and supervision of employees.

Skills: Ability to perform complex administrative and supervisory work in planning, budgeting, organization, the directions of employees and volunteers, conflict resolutions skills and operations management skills. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Special Demands: Availability for limited and scheduled evening and weekend events.

Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with the community of Nacogdoches. A mature Christian living in accord with our Statement of Faith (Please see below).

Supervision:

Salary: $30,000/yr
(depending on qualifications and experience)

Summery Objectives:
The Executive Director will be responsible for all operations of Christian Women’s Job Corps, under the supervision of the Board of Directors.

We believe in the Trinity, God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and the Bible as the Word of God. Salvation comes through grace by believing in Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God, our Savior and Lord. Once saved, the Holy Spirit indwells, thereby instructing, guiding and empowering the individual to follow the mandate of Jesus Christ in daily living. Christian Women’s Job Corps is a response to His mandate.
