Women's Program

CWJC brings hope to women through Bible study, one-on-one mentoring, life skills, coping skills, and job readiness preparation.

Our Thrive 2:7 program aims to equip young individuals (ages 14-19) for life and employment through Christ-centered training.

CWJC – Women’s Program

With the transforming power of God’s love, Christian Women’s Job Corps ministers to women by providing life skills, job readiness training, and Bible study in a Christ-centered environment. Woman to woman we are empowering women for successful employment and pursuing their life goals, whether it is a better job, a better education or a better life.

Courses Offered Include:

  • Computer Skills – basic computer literacy and Microsoft office  programs
  • Job Readiness Training – how to make yourself a valuable employee
  • Resumé Writing – how to highlight your strengths and get noticed by employers
  • Interview Skills – how to respond to a prospective employer with confidence and integrity
  • Life Skills – How to build resiliency into your personal and work life
  • Coping Skills – how to manage emotions, find peace with the past, and establish healthy boundaries
  • Biblical Foundations – how to apply Biblical principles to your life and walk in victory with God
  • High School Equivalency​ Preparation classes – in collaboration with the Nacogdoches Adult Learning Center

Our Thrive 2:7 program aims to equip young individuals (ages 14-19) for life and employment through Christ-centered training. Our desire is to offer “life tools” to assist in future decision-making.
